Los Angeles, CA April 7th, 1994 my partner and I received a radio call man down at !@#$%. I knew the location well. It was a well known shooting gallery. We arrived and noted the man down. No pulse and post rigor mortis had already started its process. We examined him further and noted that his Lividity was consistent with the position that the body was laying. This means he wasnt moved after his death. We determined this death as suspicious in nature and called the Coroners office to respond. This would be my partners first dead body. When the Corners investigator stuck the meat thermometer down into the decedents liver (aka a liver tap,) my partner was a little perplexed.
