great recipe! i tried this today with five 3oz tails. the smaller tails kept sliding down into the pan so I had my gf tilt the pan while i held 5 tails with one hand and poured the butter sauce with the other hand for a good 4-5minutes. Turned out amazing with a side of garlic mashed potatoes along with grilled corn on the cob (a great way to cook corn thanks to you again!)
Thanks so much!

Going to try this recipe this weekend for my parents and girlfriend. On separate days, respectively. Good video man!

@ChefTips
haha i guess not, in any case I will give them a try. The only way I know how to cook lobster is steaming or boiling.
ChefTips says... on 27-02-2010
@maduker
The water is flavored by the garlic and butter.
And besides, I wouldn’t go to all of the trouble to film, edit, and post a video about watered downed flavored lobster tails….

looks tasty, but is all the water necessary? I’m kinda worried it will umm..water down the flavor.

Aren’t lobster tails edible when they’re raw…?

OK, I may have commented on this video once before, but I’m curious: Why do those lobster tails look so clean and well-maintained, but the ones that are fresh-removed have nasty, shredded meat and that green tamale stuff on/in them? Is it just because they haven’t been cleaned or something?
Also, where in this recipe does de-veining come in? I don’t know much about lobsters but I’m pretty sure the tails have veins in them..

Yeah – but trying to talk any kind of cooking sense into a close mind is a waste of time. Anyone that understands the the 101′s of cooking knows the first rule is to make it your own. Take what you like, and leave out. . .well, anyway. Thanks for taking the time to make a great video. Merry Christmas
No, it doesn’t.
